June 22, 2009North Meck SC Academy sends another to an ACC School!

Current u16 US Soccer Development Academy player Vaughn Bandy (2010) committed to Virginia Tech this week. Currently tied as the leading goal scorer with the u16 team, Vaughn is our 4th Academy player to commit to an ACC school. Virginia Tech Head Coach, Mike Brizendine, spent time watching Vaughn at US Soccer Academy games and also attended training sessions at the North Meck Training facility. North Meck SC would like to congratulate Vaughn and his family on his achievement. |

May 29, 2009'96 Boys Red Honors Coach Kevin FlanaganThe '96 Boys Red team honored their coach, Kevin Flanagan, with a donation to PeacePassers. This donation will support another season of the boys 10-14 year old futsala league in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. To document the dedication, PeacePassers had a local artist paint the North Meck logo on the futsala court.
PeacePassers is a non-profit organization that shares the love of soccer and the joy it brings by collecting and distributing basic soccer supplies to people throughout the world.
